Obsticals - Driftwood, Water, People, Jetty
Access - Walk in, Good Trail, No vehicals
Hazards - Power lines near road
Recommend equip - big foots for soft sands and gravel, Kite killers.
Skill level - Intermdiate to advanced, Not a good place for beginners.
The BAD - May not be legal to rider here.
Extras - Waves are good for surfing
Parking - very close lots of spaces 30 ft to beach
Camping - St park about 5 miles away, plus lots of small independent camp spots
Extras - If wind is blowing from the East or West there is another beach to the west for good North South runs. 3 wind directions will work at this
spot.
I went to halfmoon bay 6-31-09 rode the buggy for about 3 hours.
Winds from the north at 10-12 MPH.
North wind is the only way this beach will work for bugging.
Some people on beach but not to many. this was a weekday
Beach is narrow maybe 30ft and about a 30 degree angle.
rideable beach is about a mile long.
Kite killers required for you and your kites safety. There are some power lines along the road parrell to the beach.
I did not get hassled by anyone but was told it was the Port Athorities property. Also no cars alowed on beach, This is the requirement to buggy in
Washington State as I was told by a park ranger at the Grayland Beach
