New website
I know I am asking it, but I would like to have some constructive criticism on this website. www.bigkidkites.com Don't think that you can hurt anyone by what you say.....but they might remember your name... trying to get it together and
make it work. The kids want to eat and that takes $$$$$$.
Thanks for your input, it will definitely help.

nice site ... i think its better to seperate them into brands or ability than sizes? i clicked on landboarding 3m to 6m and the first kite that came
up was the PKD Combat. i wouldnt suggest a combat for landboarding ... its more of a buggy kite, imo.
just a wooden nickel thought
would be hotter if added my products too. j/k. :D
if you need any help, please let me know ... im alway available, plus you're about 2hrs away to the south of us.

Clever SEO trick of burying keywords on your home page in (faint) hidden text, but I'm not sure it will work. Won't the crawl-bots notice it?
Interesting way of catagorizing products by size. I hope it works for you.
Do you want to mention your location and identify yourself with a region? Makes it more personable, I think. It won't isolate you, I have found. I
advertise that I am southeast Coastal Georgia, but find myself shipping to both coasts and all over the world.

nice site
I gotta agree with the above posts tho, organize by brand, then size... then explain what the kite can do!
If you get someone with a kite in mind they may miss it if the are looking in the wrong category
But other than that, good work!

On the Home page, the light blue text on gray back ground may be problematic. On one of my screens it is fine.... just a little light. On the other
monitor, it washs out completely and is next to impossible to read (without selecting or hovering over it).
On the Downloads page, the first column is already identified as Manuals in the header. You might want to remove "Manual" from the descriptions and
sort by kite name. Consider changing this "Field Card Montana II & Apex" to "Montana II & Apex Field Card" so visitors lock on in the kite
name first.
Nice touch on the menu reflections and having the shadow of the Beamer spill onto the left hand content column.
On the Links page:
Consider fading the kites on the right hand more. At their current level of prominence, they appear to tie back to the links rather than the
decoration they are.
Consider left justifying the the cell icons and having the descriptions in a seperate cell. If you can get the icons closer to the same width
there will be less horizontal "snaking" and it will "eye track" better.
You might want to remove the cell background over to a horizontal gradient that mirrors the page's gradient. Depending on the users text size
setting the background can repeat and readability goes through the floor.

(image not inline, because the forum resizes it and it needs to be viewed fullsize)
Thanks for not using fixed size fonts except for navigation... noted and appreciated.
Thanks for the link to the AKA. (also noted and appreciated) ;-)
Will continue to poke around as time permits.
ATB,
Sam

Sweet site! I agree with the organized location of kites. Personally, I either like it to be by manufacturer or even by type/size? fixed
bridle/depower, etc...? I like it though it looks awesome!!!
