A good trick?

I think I might have stumbled onto a useful trick ... or I might just be an idiot :D

I have a hard time figuring out where to point the board when I'm about to get onto it and get rolling ... so what I did last night out was this ...

Standing off the board, do a test-dive with the kite like I'm going to get rolling and notice where it goes relative to me. Then point the board just up-wind of that point, get on the board, dive the kite and hey pesto! I'm rolling like a good 'un!

Good tip or just mad? :ninja:

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...
