another 'help with my first kite' post!

After some research I've decided a Flexifoil sting is best for my first kite (i looked at string, rage and blade but was advised sting was the best all-rounder?)

Anyway, I'm a female and don;t weigh a lot, so i'm debating between 2.4 and 3.3. I want it to have plenty of power but want to be able to control and enjoy it. What size would you suggest?

That all depends on a few factors. Your kite handling experience, what you are wanting to do with it (static flying, scudding, buggying...etc) and the types of winds that you will be using most of the time.

Take into account those factors and you will more than likely make the correct choice. And actually the difference in those 2 sizes isn't drastic, so it would be hard to make the wrong choice.

Another thing to keep in mind too is that once you got the bug (the addiction:), this first kite will NOT be your only kite...

Enjoy and happy flying

Go for the 3.3 u will love it so much. I used it today in about 10mph and I gotta say it's nice . Go 3.3 u won't regret it. Remember start in low winds and work up .

thanks guys. I'm assuming i'll be using it in mostly light winds, hopefully for scudding but would look into getting a board later on. So I'll go for the 3.3. Cheers :)

Ye and even with 20mph winds you will be able to get it out and really find your self sliding. Don't underestimate the power of a 3.3m kite. Oh and when you do happen to get a board make sure to invest in a bucket ( helmet) .
