Myrtle Beach State Park
Going to be in the Myrtle Beach area the first week in August.
Anybody flying that area next week?
Also,
Any regulations, preferred areas or best spots in the Myrtle Beach area in general?
Kite shops to visit? Where locals fly?
Hey, any info would be greatly appreciated and would like to see some kitesurfing or boarding.

I've heard that Huntington Beach State park was the place to go to find some empty space. Not been there to confirm though. Let us know how you do
there.

Rock,
We'll be at Pawley's Island (~25 south of Myrtle on US 17) the first two weeks of August. Myrtle Beach state park is pretty much a no go due to large
crowds and no beach. My brother-in-law is the park ranger there. I will call him tomorrow and find out if he knows if there are any restrictions at
Huntington. If so, there are a few other options.
U2u me a contact number and we'll try and meet up somewhere the first week.

Thanks Bob,
Maybe Mel can find out some info there.
It would be a real treat to watch Mel and Josh out on the water.
It was awful to miss the meet at Folly. Been a rough year for the ole 454 in the boat so when I got her running the kids wanted to be on the lake. So
that we did.
Just maybe, I can lay my eyes on a real kite this time.
Thanks for the replys guys.
