expecting some rain @ Primm
Update .... we are expecting some sort of a moisture event tonight or tomorrow.
The Windjet craft has arrived and been setup today.
http://windjet.co.uk
We have done 13 Blokart races so far. I am winning the races within my weight class so far. At least I am the fastest of the slowest. The Kiwis are
dominating the action so far and are expected to take all of the top positions in the overall standings. The Blokarts are running a seperate event
from the NALSA races, there are 27 entrants so far. Close pack racing, somewhat like kite buggy action. So far there has been only one collision, no
injuries, minor damage to crafts involved. It happened at some serious speed too. Looking forward to 3 more days of racing if the weather holds out.
Low wind in the AM, but 10-20 mph by the afternoon.
Having a blast with the racing but I look forward to hanging with my buggy buddies. Two buggiers have already arrived from Washington... Both named
George (father and son) I think the last name is Robinson, but I might be wrong.
See y'all soon.

Hey Jason,
What an awesome looking wind machine. Is it going to be there next week on the 30th? I would love to see it. I think next year I will try to come a
little earlier.
Thanks for keeping us posted on the weather conditions. I have been eagerly reading the forum for weather info.
Steve.

night buggying is great but please put a white head light
on the front of the buggy and a red tail light on the back.
so we know if your coming or going. we hear you before we see you. and let someone know
you are going out. in case you don`t come back so we could go out looking for you.

Another great day on the playa...
Last night there was rain and winds @ 50mph. the HOtels lost power for about 3 hours. The sand rails are here doing their thing. The porta potty
got blown over and was to say the least, very messy. I hope to never see anything so disgusting ever again. It was cleaned today, no worries.
Winds were erratic for a while, but it came in later at steady 20+ and I was out with the 4 meter sail and had the most intense time racing ever.
Major pucker factor for me. I was going 40+ mph and loving it. The traffic was something new to deal with at such speeds, several blokarts were
tipped over during the race, but no one was hurt or even dropped from the race. The timing equipment was really put through the paces and held up
well. Windjet did a few runs and got up to @ 80mph today, but that was before the winds came up to full strength. I think I convinced them to stay @
Ivanpah for the weekend, so if you aren' going to Elmers, might be a treat to see this craft in action. The lakebed surface is fine, no worries
there.
