Maybe it's the biker in me but ...

... :megan: carbon fibre is awesome ...

The first testing was awesome, the L. Link handles great and even better in the cut up soft sand at the flags in the racing. My max speed for the day was 78.9 kms on big foots.

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

That fork looks like a work of art but the seat looks a tad high to me.

wicked looking buggy for sure:bouncy:

what are those tires? i'm guessing they are Cadkat's speed rated tires ($$$$)? I am looking for the same type but do not need the $peed version.

Damn those are sexy, but check out the price.
Quote:
the only down side we have found so far is the price, with $ 860 nz dollars of material each one + labour.
we can do them at $ 1200 nz each.or $1100 each for orders of 5.(all bolts inc.as per photo)
+ $ 200 nz for titanium 20mm front axle

can look at it this way ,how much do you pay for mountain bike carbon forks,or that last kite you got

1,200.00 NZD = 805.473 USD
1 NZD = 0.671227 USD

They look more like Kenda Beach racers.

The Eurotrax with the 80kmh speed rating have 14 grooves. If your intrested in a set of Eurotrax without the speed rating let me know. I have a set of used ones that I'll sell cheap.

Maybe it's the Dutch/Scottish blood in me ... but I wouldn't pay that just for carbon fibre bling - not even with current exchange rates
