nice to see vids... makes it come clear.

that kite doesn't actually look like it had much lift in those winds, looks like you were having to send the kite almost down into traction territory b4 you could pick your feet up... were you feeling powered up?

fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....

sting 1.7, dp power 2.5, crossfire 3.2, ace 5, blade iv 6.5, ace 8, ace 12...

also a couple of arcs, 12 syn and 12 phanny, but i\'m not yet up to speed on them.

I might have exaggerated a bit about the wind speed, it was more like 15 to 20 mph, the camera phone is decieving i think, it sounds a lot stronger than it is.

There were some much bigger jumps that day, i think the biggest was 6ft or something, next time its good conditions we will use the better camera.

Like i said, it was just some practice jumps bouncing around, its a new kite so i wanna chill and practice with it first, like you would say they were my "first solid jumps"

I like to take the kite low to the edge of the window and just hang it there until im ready, i like the stability, that day was all about trying different jumping techniques to suit the kite. Next vid should be better.

We was going to go out today but the wind was too strong and im not ready for silly winds.

now you're looking properly powered up!

if the winds get stronger keep the kite at the side while you are catching your breath between jumps, you won't get lofted that way. kite seems quite stable at the edge, and your winds look good.

I also took a good long while before I was comfortably flying higher winds with the bigger kites, it's good to take it slow.

your beach looks like quite hard-pack sand, safety gear is something you want to start thinking about.

keep on flying!

Safety gear, that is a good idea, what you use?

Yeah the wind was honestly a bit too strong tbh, the cirrus doesnt like to land with ease, something that bugs me, without kite killers this kite would give nightmares.

You know its too strong when its straining your arms after 10 minutes of fly time, maybe my arms are just weak lol. Definitly would have got some silly jumps if i put the effort in but flip that for a laugh.

That beach has stones too, so we couldnt land it at the left edge just incase it didnt flip back around just before touch down, then at the right side of the window its sea lol,

God bless kite killer lol.

Yeah nice job on those jumps! Also on the redirects, I could see you were gettin' that down ;) . Invest in a nice helmet and wear it every time you kite jump, that way you don't have to invest in the local hospital ;)

Ive got a crash helmet [bmx style] knee pads, shin pads, etc etc from my bmxing days.

Might look into some ankle braces, as that and knees seem to be most common injuries.

had a majestic evening tonight down the sea front, it was nearly dark and quite windy but my bro insisted on setting up, he flew for about 20 minutes getting pulled all over the place he accidentally flipped it a few times and made excuses why and said that we should pack up but i had other ideas, the wind was constant and dropping as it got darker so i called for the last flight.

So i got on after ten minutes of being shouted at because my bro dint know which way he span the kite lol yh i Know.

So basically took her up in the dark pretty much but there was nothing to crash into and the wind was super chilled..if not apparent

I got a double kite loop without trouble and it was very nice, ithe 6 hadnt been looped yet but it was just right
