we booked our flights and cabbanas already for Nov1 - Nov7 in SPI texas ....... love that warm water in the flats or the sweet wave action all the way up the coast. just imagine a 7 mile down-winder in the waves !

the Edmonton crew usually stay for 2 weeks till the 14th down there, but the Bellingham/seattle foil dudes will be there for just the 1st week.

cabannas are $35 per night and sleep 3 with a kitchenette, fridge, shower. we've booked 2 out of 7 units.

or there are hotels of course as well as houses to rent.

hope to see some of y'all down there !!!

yeah, you can access the beach with a truck after the 6 mile crossroad.... we dirt biked out there... it goes for miles and miles.

ya man i will know something tommorow if i will be making it down that away....we have been getting very good wind man today we had a solid 22 plus and its been pretty consisted

I will be driving down to south padre on Tues the 3rd and leaving on the next Monday. Last time I was down there I was the only buggyer on the island. If the winds are not onshore then I will buggy on the flats and if onshore I drive north till the road ends and buggy down the beach. I will try and find yall so we can meet.

we're back... had a great time despite the RED TIDE and thousands of dead fish on the beach.

some areas were worse than others, but overall after about 45 min in the waves, you eyes would be really irritated.

here's a link to pics from the trip. the weather pattern was in-between systems, so it was 8-15mph all week. one afternoon it lit up to 20 so we don't have pics of that since we were all out riding.
