1m Profoil pulling like a wet tissue
I had my 1m Profoil out the other day in 28-32mph and didn't get any pull whatsoever, flew like a bat with a firecracker shoved up it but with no
power.:puzzled:
Tried it with loose brakes and tight brakes nothin.
I was using a set of heavy lines off my 12m North Vegas, it came with the fifth line upgrade and a spare quad lineset so before you ask no I wasn't
trying to fly the profoil with a depower setup:P.
I hear that the 1m has quite a bit of pull in nukein winds so my question is.
Is my definition of nukein waay off, or can the heavy lines affect it that much?

Drag on a tiny kite bad. I saw a kid riding an ATB at NABX under a 1m profoil (way high in the window too- bet if it had been low in the power he
would have been cookin'.)
Aim low. Reach your goals, and avoid disappointment.

Yeah, you are basically flying it on chains. Flexifoil has a set for the small Sting series, 18m x 100/ 75 kg that would be good.

I like my 2.5 profoil in those winds but gave away my 1.5m .
The bit of power it produced was very short lived as it zipped through the window. Flying it required a bunch of little power pushes as you snap it
about. The 2.5 produces more consistant power.
I think it is an insult to the Profoil to ship them with those terrible handles and no lines. Better to sell kite only. Those handles are the worst I
have ever seen.
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .
