Ya, i got some e-mails from Pansh. They are offering some killer deals. They must be hurting. I wonder if it is because of economy or because they
suck? :dunno: They get a LOT of crap talked about them, but I likem em fine. They don't try to cover up what they are - a cheap alternative.
They don't try to pose as some high quality kite company so what's the problem? They helped me get into this sport . . . . otherwise I may have
shrugged it off as something else I would love to get into but just can't afford.

Good to see they are hurting. I guess their master plan of screwing over and running off all their dealers isn't working out so well for them

I stared off a pansh blaze and found it a good kite. However some of the comments on it are snobbery. They are not the quality of some other brands
but some like me do not have the budget and have to buy pansh or seconed hand.

It's not just snobbery, mate.
pansh kites can teach a beginner a lot and can fly very well in an expert's hands, but many other more expensive kites do deliver much more in the
long term.
Yes some of the comments can be harsh, but in the long run this place is one of the kindest backwaters of the web, if you spend any amount of time
online you'll know what I mean.
My ace 8 is my goto jumping kite in low winds, but it's a pig to turn and hard to redirect well. In the meantime it is teaching me a lot about how to
fly big kites for static jumps, especially how to recover it after messing up the redirect. :P

Actually, yes much of it is snobbery.
I don't care if you think your brand(s) are the best - that is fine. I just don't find it cool when people feel the need to bash other brands. Humbly
expressing your opinion when someone asks is obviously fine . . . . but there are many comments (yes, even on this site {{{gasp}}}) that were
unsolicited.
Let's not lower ourselves to the level of the political campaigns and bash other brands - Why can't we just promote the ones we love?

I have to agree Soccerflyer. I have a Pansh 6m Ace and love it. Do I know it's an inexpensive alternative to higher cost/higher quality brands? You
bet I do, and I'm fine with that. If I could buy an OZone would I? You bet I would, but I can't right now and I'm thankful for Pansh making
something that I can afford.
Let's be positive and keep the brand bashing to a minimum.

Sounds like to me Walmart vs the underdog conversation all over again. I've kinda gotten to the point where I"ve noticed how the Pansh Chinese
business relationship is just like all the other products they send out. It's cheaper, it's cheaper(in both meanings), but it's good for the price.
The main thing is how they do business is not kosher. They've burnt many bridges along the way so that's the main reason why I don't necessarily like
Pansh anymore. I've truly loved my 5m and have had MANY a good times jumping/boarding with it. I just dont' support the company anymore.

I am not saying its you Furbs and def not Dino. He has a reason to be frustrated. He got burned by them. I was not referring to dealing with them.
I was simply referring to the kites themselves and more than that those that like them. There have been a few comments where some dudes have gotten
negative comments just for liking them and trying to back it up.
I am really not into rufflin feathers. Next rounds on me

Don't equate the Chinese with limited quality. I'm sure most of the major brands are mfr'd in China. My Reactor IIs were and they are impeccable.
Flexi, HQ, Peter Lynn and I'm sure many others have their kites, bags and accessories mfr'd in China and they find a way to have successful business
dealings. Maybe its tough on them as well and we just don't see that from our side. The Chinese can turn out a great product though.

I like it better to say there's made in China then there is sold by China ...
with that said I'm expecting another China kite (not Pansh) to demo any day. I guess I never learn :puzzled:

3g iphone, for example. but yeah can't ignore the johnny gringo factor (lao wai is the local version of the term). One of odd things about pansh has
been their limited uptake from all the advice and support they initially had on the web.
thanks for your kinds words, soccerflyer, yes I'll continue to recommend them as appropriate, but to the simple truth is the longer i fly the less
often they're the kite I'm willing to put forwards as appropriate for folks, tho yes lack of funds is a strong trump card for pansh...

All I can say is, I flew my 3.3 Pansh Sprint today buggyin', and had a blast. It was faster than my 4.7 Flexi rage. Sure it likes to tip tuck . You
just need to loosen up the brakes. I got my moneys worth
How they did their dealers ( Dino and I'm sure others), was sad to say the least. I hate to say that I will get a few more Sprints, but I'm gonna.
But it is the only way I can have a quiver of (Ahem..) Racekites. LOL
But that is the hard truth.

they undercut the dealers on the prices, and they are up to it again, enlisting any schmuck with an email address to be "authorized dealers", going to
glut the market with dealers, and nobody's gonna make any $ but pansh... but they have already made it clear that they dont care about that

Ah, that explains a lot, thanks Dylan ... I've looked at some sales on here and checked the price against the Pants website and thought that the new
price wasn't much more ... that'll be why. They're effectively screwing the owners too if they're undercutting resale value.
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Thought you might like that one. I got the same e-mail as everyone else that has ever bought a kite from pansh, sad thing is that with as many people
that have bought these things there is someone bound to fall for their ploy.
