That's what they were talking about on that other post about the Atom bindings. You rotate your feet against the bindings.

Pretty fast for a beginner. I did my practice with a 3m Scout in ~18mph winds. Though that was on hard pack beach, not grass.

Dirty inland winds today at the field 12 gusting to a violent 20mph odd.

i was advised not to go out but i wasnt planning on jumping or even standing tbh so i went for it, we have had gales for the last week non stop so i had to get out whilst it was easing for a few hours.

I took the 4.5 ace out, set up and sat down to launch, i was arse scudding across the field as fast as i could sprint it lol, i felt my backside heating up haha, i took it up to the zenith occasionaly where i was hovering and getting lofted STILL ON MY ARSE lol.

Eventually i stood up and luckily the gust wernt as frequent but still getting lofted 3 or 4 feet, i really would have liked to go to the soft beach so i could do some jumps but it was too far to go that late, now i have to wait until flipknows when the wind will ease again.

I got my hit though and now feel calm and collected lol

i know its crazy, how ironic that there was too much wind.

i still dont think im ready for anything over 20mph tbh, i could handle it but on the Ace its quite scary for me, i went to the sea front the other day to experience the gales and it was immense, a constant offshore 40mph gusting to 65 or something, no thankyou.

Eventually i ... decided to ruin the field by scudding on my arse,... People in the other field must have thought i was mad, i was just launching the kite and scudding to the other side of the field screaming like a girl.

I was dying after reading this. I was laughing so hard my wife came to check on me. When I told her, she joined me. Eventually, we calmed down . . . . until she asked if you had any pants left on after that, which set us off anew. We decided that you probably went home with a pair of Chippendale leggings . . . .
