Christmas in Palm Springs Locations ??
Looks like I'll be in P.S. for the holidays.
I'll rent a car and head north to ????? Elmer's ?????
I'm looking for input as to choices of location and people I might ride with.
What are my best choices in the area?
Anybody want to meet up?
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.

Can people who know the area please point me in the right direction here.
I expect to drive as much as 2 hours for Elmers but expect there must be lots of spots closer to P.S. :puzzled:

Hey Bladerunner,
I'm always up for a run to Elmer's. If you decide to go there and the winds up shoot me a U2U...I've got tons of kites and 3 buggies and a board and
your welcome to try them all.
Every time I go to Palm Springs I'm always looking for a cool place to kite. Haven't really found anything that was close by and windy...seems like
Banning (I think that is the name of the town about 20-30 miles outside of P.S) is always windy but can't seem to find any good spots...maybe a google
earth search of that town would be worth a try??

About how long a drive is it to Elmers from P.S. ? I have wanted to check the place out and would prefer to meet up with someone.
I'll travel with Coyotes and kites so will be O.K. for equipmet. That said I love trading and trying new stuff . A shot at those wheels of doom would
be cool.
I am used to small spaces . That whole valley looks wide open and there seems to be lots of wind . I'm pretty sure I can scout out a local spot ????
Abandoned golf course ? playing fields ? Airstrip? How about out Indio way ?
