UNBELIEVABLE, !!, what a hero's they are !!...

I have been racing in the Transat Des Sables in 2006 "only"600 km thru the western sahara, but what these guys did !!, respect BIG TIME !!!

How did that major crash happen? I was unclear on that except that his buggy landed on top of him.

what I understood the buggy and himself got lifted into the air and then droped head first.

If you take a close look at the buggys in the film you will see that the kite is attached to the buggy. Unless you are freestyling, Big time NO NO!!!
I do understand why they did this (same direction all day long puts huge stress on your hip) but they saw the result of what can happen.
