I would put a safety knot in those straps. They will slide loose - usually when you are doing 60.

The California High Way Patrol officer said i was going 79mph! It didn't budge! Those are the straps for holding those big macdonalds looking roof systems from sears on your car! They hold! I've used them for years for carrying various things, and they kick butt!

do u strap the buggy on the bottom of the car too? or just have the top secured down...

It is only attached at the top and the sides, the sides hold it down as well.

Dave C insists that it is going to come off, but it's already been driven well over 1,000 miles and doesn't budge, and it still seems to follow me wherever i go.

It does love the playa, it's just back from the Black Rock Desert!
