Several of us are going out to San Luis Pass this weekend.

Not yet sure if we are going to have the NAPKRA races, but a few of us are going anyway.

I plan on heading down Friday afternoon.

hey man north winds are way better on the north side of slp....let us boys know what yall plan on doing but there is a point down there on the galveston side thats off the hook:bouncy: on a north wind!!

Official forecast says "Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 70s. North winds 10 to 20 mph. "

Looks like they will be north to north-east. Maybe us buggiers can find a good path through the dunes like we had for our last races. For those that want to get in the water, the back side of the pass should offer some great riding. Landboarders might be the only ones left out of a good place to ride... but that would give them a good reason to try a buggy :singing:

How was the buggy sessions??? i couldnt make it out saturday i was too exausted from the day before and the advil pm.

It looks like the south winds are about to be back for this week. im ready to go on a landboard trip down surfside

Buggying was great. Got some good runs in and the beach wasn't very busy. Considering the wind direction, it wasn't as gusty as I was expecting. There was about a half dozen of us. Sand was packed, but pretty rough. You really couldn't go much faster than 30 before you got shaken to bits.
