Had to try it..night flying!!!

Well i had to give it a go, i read that a few others do it so......

Holy cow Batman what a rush!!!

Clear skies last night, no stars/moon but reflecting city lights and winds in the 8-10mph range!!!

Flying at night is actualy quite peaceful...no one around and you can hear the kite move !!!

Give it a try and report back :wee:

Ya its a blast, only time I have done it though is when I found my Cult waiting for me when I got home and was to impatient to wait for daylight to set it up and fly only about 5-8 mph wind however.

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I LOVE night kiting, and am a big supporter of it. When the moon is out and the snow is down, I could ride for hourssss. When the moons not out sometimes it takes an led blinker or two to make out the kite:eureka:

Winds tonight looking constant at 20mph, you can guess where I'll be:D

night riding is fun ... i enjoyed the nights at NABX one year. I put Photon lights ( http://www.photonlight.com/Photon-Micro-Light-II-Keychain-LE... ) the dirt-outs as well and ran 4 flashing red lights under my racing plates, it looked like a low-rider.

NABX ... only a few months away and counting.

It's like it was just made for kite flying ;)

https://www.blackcratergear.com/

- 3mm Hyper Bright white LED, 12,000 mcd typ.
- Power Source, Lithium CR1220 batteries X2, Shelf Life 5 years
- Mass Less than 8 grams
- Water Resistant Construction
- 3 Modes Low-High-Flash
- Corrosion Proof Stainless Steel Cord Lock Spring

Cheaper in multi-packs from various vendors. Expect it to be a bit cheaper still as the new and shiny wears off.
