Anyone have any 5.0m kites for sale.

I have a 3.3m Flexifoil Sting and am looking to get a bigger kite. I have a land board, and would like to get a kite that would allow me to get some lift.

Any ideas?

alot of people like the Peter Lynn twister 5.6 for lift. I think most boarders end up getting DePower kites though. Some of them may have just the information you seek.

What's your budget?
If you want to go depower, that'll be a bigger pile of cash you'll need - harness, bar etc
If you stick to handles then you should be able to get a 5-ish for like $300 ...

My personal bias would be to go for a Peter Lynn :D

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

the generally accepted way is to pay via paypal... then you have protection (it doubles if you use a credit card, though paypal doesnt like paying the fees, and will make it inconvenient), and it is convenient...

if you really dont want to use paypal, then most people here will take checks, but they probably wont send anything off until said check clears... i use paypal with all but one seller, and we have done business before a number of times, so i feel okay sending him a check

generally the exchange of sensitive information is done via u2u (our personal messenger system for the PKF)

Just a couple of questions....

Does it come with a bag?
How are you shipping it/Shipping time?
Will you except 300 for the kite?

yes, comes with bag.... ill ship it via usps flat rate box, if possible.... the $325 basically is taking 300 for the kite, due to paypal fees, and shipping

*edit... shipping time should be 3-5 days
*another edit.... i have already dropped the price on this kite twice, it was $375, and it is over $500 new

Dylanj, if he sends you the money via paypal as a "gift", they don't take any fees out of it.

so long as i come out of it with 300, i am cool with the sale- i think that is perfectly reasonable... shipping will be about $15

i am pretty sure you cannot find a comparable price anywhere... if you can, you should take it

Who pays fees when money is transferred through paypal, the buyer, the seller, or both? I've bought and sold stuff through paypal, and I've never paid any fees, and I didn't send the money as a gift.

The one collecting the money pays the fees. Paypal takes 3% right off the top before they even give you money. I haven't sold much but I've always been charged. If I sell for $100, I get a receipt from PP for $100 with only $97 available to me.

They charge a higher fee for currency conversions but I think they than lower their fee if you are a business or have a premium type account.

They changed their policies recently. It used to be that personal transactions weren't charged fees. The seller is charged the fees.

As long as it's under a certain amount... Which I think is somewhere around $1000. Or maybe it was $2000?
