manta 2 ....8m or 10m ?

Ive just been offered two manta's by a friend one 10m and the other 8m. there both cost the same but the 8m is almost brand new, wheras the 10m is slightly older.

Now i would proberly say the 8m is a wiser choice because i only weigh 55kg !!! BUT i also want to be able to get into actual tricks and what not now with my landboard. Will i still get descent air with the 8m, specially with my weight ? I want to be able to take it out when the wind is at like 20-25 instead of being stuck indoors. so what woukd you recommend.

thanks,
Ollie

At 55kg, get the 8-meter. Especially for 20-25 winds. I would actually suggest something smaller for those winds. I fly my 8-meter Outlaw in those winds in the buggy, and it starts getting scary at those winds, and I'm a bit heavier than you are (about 84kg). On water, I see people using 7m kites in those same winds. Sometimes larger depending on what they want to do. These are also folks weighing about the same as me. You will probably find the 8m to start being a little overpowering right around 20mph of wind. Maybe less.

Best of luck. :)
