Slingshot Jarvis 148
Anyone use this board before? How would it treat a beginner at 6'5" @ 260 lbs?

Well after much research on what board would be best for a beginner, would also allow me to progress a bit further, and what the market had to
offer... I picked up one of these boards for next season. Too bad I have to wait 8 months till I can try it out...

The Jarvis 148 isn't a bad board, but you're a big guy and you're gonna need to be lit to ride it. I recommend you beg, borrow or steal a bigger
board to get started with. Look at the board sizes in my sig, I weigh 10 lbs less than you and I've been kiting for 8 years.
