My wife and I enjoyed the event. I hope you guys enjoyed the eggrolls and grilled pork. Count me in next year. The food and friendship was great. Hopefully, by then I will have a few kites to go with the buggy I bought from Dylan.

I too made it home safely, very little traffic on Friday afternoon.
I would like to thanks everyone who came out to DBBB 2009 to make it an enjoyable event. I want to also thank Steve McDonald for cooking the turkeys, and everyone else that added to the menu. We couldn't do it without you.
Those of you that stayed for Sat and Sunday I you got to play hard in the SE winds.
Until next time.

What a great Trip! DBBB was Great - As usual. This morning's sunrise on beach was Fantastic with oranges, reds and nice steady on shore wind. It was especially hard to leave this year.
Thank you so much Susan and Brad for all the work you each put into making DBBB a wonderful event - one of the BEST! So good to see old friends and make some new ones. Rick, Susan and Janie - thank you for the Shark tooth and nice walks, Patrick and Shelby for some wonderful morning coffee and cool dog tricks, Steve for the buggy rides and towing me in - and wonderful breakfast. Kathy your flowers ROCK and so do you - What would DBBB be without the Kite Lady. All of the Shark folks - I cannot begin to name you all - but good people and good kite karma. Kenneth you and Ron are too much fun! - thanks for all the great around the campfire memories. Joe - great food and conversations - looking forward to more. Life is good when you get to have such great times with great People!

Leaving on Sat. afternoon back to Louisiana the traffic was not bad at all. I guess it was a good thing that I left early then.

One of the best Dead Bird events yet. For the most part the beach conditions were awesome, and the winds were great, except when they were turbulated...

It was so good to see everyone again! We missed all of you that couldn't make it this year and hope to see you at NABX, Cinco or DB next year.
