Libre Spirit 7.7 Review

I flew the Libre Spirit 7.7 for the first time at DBBB. The performance of the kite was outstanding. It was fast, stable and not over powering. It flies further forward in the window than my JoJo RM+s and just like the 3.9m Spirit, it is super forgiving and easy to fly.

I can't stress how little brake input is required to keep these kites going. The JoJo's need constant brake adjustment as you loop them and as you turn them in order to achieve the smooth power and speed from them. These kites seem to be well tuned to get just the right amount of speed and power (almost constant) as they are looped and turned with minimal brake input. They run well up wind, down wind and in gusty conditions.

I like the Spirits so much, I bought the 4.7 and 7.7. These kites are definitely a step up from the JoJo RM+.

Steve.
