Navigator bar on a Synergy kite ?

I am traveling as light as I can. I will be flying my Synergy on the new Navigator bar. Also taking the 10m Charger.

I can't see any reason this should be a problem? Can I not just move the stopper down if I don't want the full throw ?

Can anyone see a problem other than the obvious pains of using the one bar for both kites?

Has anybody tried their Navigator on a Synergy ?

Haven't used the Nav bar on a Synergy but I fly all my twinskins on a long throw bar - can't see any reason why you wouldn't want the long throw. Riding at a full power setting about full arm extension gives you all the de-power you need. I only move the stopper down if I want to ride with power and not have to hold the bar inward but that's only in smooth wind conditions. if you get gusty you'll want to be able to push out further once in a while.
I'm really anxious to hear your feedback using the 10 Charger with a lot of room to fire up some speed. It'll have power but wondering if it will sit far enough out front when you get up to really top end speed.

I am traveling with Coyotes and the 2 kites only.

I hope to get out to Elmers for 1 or 2 days but will be more than happy just finding a local field to get working on my jumps.
I'll be happy to report how it goes.

Last year Thr Charger was able to fo faster than my Coyotes could (37mph) and I had to pull back. I KNOW it wants to go faster but won't have a chance to push it this trip.

I'm shooting for more than 40 at NABX this year.

I have taken advantage of Screwey's skills and connections to mill some wheels that won't self destruct at that speed !

LOOKING GOOD so far :wee:

Maybe the outside didn't take that long, but all those irregular cut outs must have taken a while.

I had the 10 out in the late afternoon nice steady winds at NABX and got it up into the low 50's. Curious how it will have behaved approaching 60mph. I could never get the 10m Scorpion to 60 - just a hair shy of it and the kite would drop back a bit in the 50's and the leading edge curve would change shape. I would have to bear off a bit to get it in front more and start to spank that monkey :-)
I found above 60 it meant going to smaller sizes like 6-8m twinskins.
The twinskins that have favoured the grunt power needed for surfing haven't gotten out quite as far in front at the higher speeds of buggying - unless going down in size.
We were just getting a hit of winter then it's been raining a couple of days so we'll need a little more time before testing the Chargers out on the lakes this winter - hoping for some nice clean conditions this year - the need for speed.
