If you use that helmet I would be looking to get a different one! This is just a bad accident. You have a experienced pilot doing everything right ...
safety gear, proper size kite for conditions, etc. and to have something like this happen 
I had just became friends with Diego on FB and he seemed like a real cool guy. I would have liked to meet him one day. |

Very sad to hear. It is true that this sport has unpredictable dangers. If it can happen to one so experienced it can definitely happen to me.
Still more likely to happen driving to his favorite spot. So sad for his family. They are the ones that suffer most. My condolences.
