Infinity Bar Failure

Just read a post on another site, seems to be a real issue with the new Infinity bar. The ends are failing pulling out of the bar.
Article is on foil zone.

I had this happen to a guy with an 10m (?) ozone frenzy and ozone bar. It was second hand but nothing seemed to look like it was home rigged when i took a look at it after the fact. One of the ends (the plastic winder, brake line attachment part) cracked off from the bar

It was scary, He got picked up by a gust, and when he came down he hit the kite kill hat. The kite began to depower then WHACK! and the kite reinflated perfectly along 3/4 of its length, and the last bit and wing tip stayed slightly stalled. It kept spinning and spinning low in the window and he went off like a cruise missile. Straight through our gear pile throwing boards, bags, and pumps like bowling pins.

Me and redtailin went bookin after him and I was able to dive onto him and yank a brake line till it sheeted out peter lynn style. He had the biggest bruise I think I've ever seen on his leg and we realized his kite left one of his shoes at the launch site :shocked2:

Would an ozone bar really not be able to handle the forces of sheeting a kite ? I was really surprised and a little upset with ozone. The kite had only been flown 4 times prior.
