Hotel Code Up!

as a famous kite buggier would say: Hey Sailors, the hotel code is now up!

For you newbies and reminder to all, it is very important that you use the hotel code. Your use of the hotel code gives the event credit for the room nights that are booked. Without which, there is no way to show the hotel our use.

It's simple, we book one large room for our staff use, and cram as many people into it as possible. In this way it keeps our cost down.

Yes, everything has gone up. It is amazing to me that we've been able to pull this off each year for as little as we take in, but we didn't do it last year, and in fact fell over $1,000 behind. It's okay, we can't make it up, and you know what, we don't care.

Having said that, could you help us out this year and use the room code and encourage each other to use it. Please and thank you.

We put every dollar saved back into the event, and you will see even more than ever at this years event, i promise.

More guests from far away. More night time activity. More racing. More events and clinics. More food from all of us. More shot car racing. More better T-shirts(very important). Much more better on site B.S. with higher calorie rating. More speed. More playa time. More more. Sunday, sunday, sunday. More video. More international coverage. More old timers. More super stars. More women. More beer(if you bring it.) More.

Srsly, i can't stress this enough, use the code. We need you to use it, it really helps the event.

I received the email info about the code and called to make reservation and they said they have no information on that subject. Am I on another planet or did I screw up? The person who answered the phone sounded like they were in India, maybe I'm in the wrong country:no:

They haven't gotten the paperwork from sales yet. They told me to call Monday or Tuesday.

Also, don't mis-dial and call 286 instead of 386. Kinda funny...

i had issues using the code online, however when you get a girl to phone the hotel and tell them at you stay there year after year, they just might offer the deal for the extra days you stay. i cant confirm this for everyone but it worked for us. No, kitemama will not call for you. hehehe.

also i've searched far and wide, on and off the net ... and using the code is the cheapest i've found yet. however there was one site (unnamed) that offered it cheaper but $4.00 per night however they listed FEE/Extra Charges apply with no percentage/rate listed.

see you in a few. look for TEAM PINK SKIRT - Canada.

So what Ricardo is trying to say is, even if you can find it cheaper, please don't. It hurts the event.

We need the room code to be counted and can not get deals, lower rates, reservations or any other considerations without being counted.

Make sure you're counted, use the room code! Call and make the res. It doesn't take long, and it helps the event tremendously!

Thanks and Aoxo~!

Just reserved a room at BB for M-Th 3-29 thru 4-1 and used the group code. The total bill came out only $1.30 more than the cheapest online site. That's a no-brainer. Use the Code!

If you go to the resort web page it does show the 28th and 29th being sold out. When you use the code they have rooms available.
The code evidently tells them what hotel to book.
Book my hotel at 10:00 pm PST and they had rooms available.

The code has said 'inactive' when used online for me for months. Guess I should just finally call and book
I called and the 29th is sold out at Bill's so I booked at Primm for the 29 then I'm over at Bill's thru the 4th.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I just did a count a few days ago and we had over 20 peak room nights left.

Any time you have any problems i promise to take care of it asap.

We don't ask you to use the code for no reason. We have blocks of rooms set aside until i believe the 14th of March. I will ask for a count tomorrow, but can't imagine having a run of 20 room nights happening in the past few days.

Please, send me an email if you have a problem. (not u2u) deanjordan at gmail dot com

Again, calling and using the code is the way to go.

Thanks for keeping the pump!

Hey Sailors,
I just booked a room and other than the English-language barrier, I had no problems.
I used the 800 number and a bit of patience.
They're putting us all in Buffalo Bills, it seems, and that's just fine.

If anybody has a problem or question, e-mail dean.
Seriously.
From personal experience I can attest to the fact that dean really is helpful when dealing with officialdom. Or the cops.
