Need some binding risers...suggestions??
Hello fellow snowkiters, I need some advice
I have huge feet.
size 15 boots. my 5150 stroke (wide) board does not help. Its like having 12's on a regular board.
So I'm looking into risers cuz I'm tired of eating it while trying to hold my edge. It sucks. And its impeding my boost capabilities haha.
Cheap(ish), but gets the job done. Those are the criteria haha. Let me know what you suggest!!

Try some wood or plastic blocks under your bindings. also turn your bindings until your feet don't hang off more than 1/2 inch.

interesting concept on the blocks, that is something to consider for sure........turning the bindings enough for 1/2 inch would be about 30 degrees
tho haha
I like the block idea

the Union Cadet DLX bindings I got when I bought my set-up came with 'gas-pedal' risers, kind of wedge shaped piece of plastic, but then, I'm the size
12 on a regular board.

A good hardware store will have some odd blocks and strips of UHMW plastic. Easy to shape with saws, dremel, etc.. DIY gas pedals.

I'd say depending how much rise you need and what your tinkering skills are like this might be a good opportunity to explore the swivel bindings?

it would cost more than simple risers but Jim Everding here in Kitchener Ontario has been building his own kiteboards and built a press in the fall
and is now making kite snowboards as well and can make whatever width you need.
