You're really not searching hard enough.... ;-)

Eli got a full quiver of them last year and has been posting sporadically about them. There's some banter in some of the threads and you have to read a bit into those to get to the meat.

how does a pkd combat of same size compare to a yakuza ? is the combat more stable due to smaller number of air intakes ?

I flew my combat to demo in not so great wind and it flew so good in those winds, I know what a machine it will be with smooth coastal winds. Never have flown a yak, but the combat is not an impossible kite to fly at all. It might fold a tip over if you over crank it while the wind died for a second but I was doing extended rear end slides in a straight line with 11 mph winds. Very high power output for the kite size and winds I had. It's not a Beamer stability-wise, but if you are wanting a race kite, you are wanting some extra performance rather than heavy on the stability. Maybe someone can compare the Combat with a yak to fill in my blanks here.

I got my 17m GT set up and ready to go this weekend. I hope the wind is right! (I never though that I would be wishing for low winds) If I get a chane to fly I'll write a review.
The other Yak GT are great kites but are not for Beginners. You need to know what you are doing. The smaller ones (under 5.5) will turn so fast that many people cannot control them. The bigger ones are great on 15meter lines (17 on 20m lines)
