Great day end badly, trip to hospital

Well had a great day on the lake, winds really sweet all day. Had a great time on the Scorpion, more than my share of air. On the way back in had a binding on my ski fail and landed hard and popped my collar bone. They were able to reset it but out of commission for 3-4 weeks but thats life.

Well at least it was at the end of your session - how far did you need to go to get packed up? Take care man - you will still be able to get some more time in for this season.

about 2 km back to truck but ice fisherman gave me a ride, packing up the kite really sucked but got her done. 30 km winds are made for Scorpion's had some great air time and covered over 20 km on the lake.

Let it heal, but don't let it slow you down afterward.

Try the sulfur supplement MSM - it really helped pain and stiffness in my broken shoulder during PT.

When I broke my Clavical I didn't even feel it until I woke up ( sobered up ) and wondered what was klicking . It aches a bit and left a bump but no problem compared to the dislocated shouder . That hurt real bad and bugs me still.

It seems those people were right back then. These things do bug you when you get older. The pain brings back GREAT memories of being knocked down and getting up again! Better than the slow road !!

Hey Buddy
Check that binding - at this time of year some wives and girlfriends tamper with equipment to keep us around the house on Valentines day!
Hope it heals up well and you are back at it - sorry to hear about the accident. Things like that go through my mind every rut the ski catches, every boost coming in wrong.
Take care
