Hello!
Just joining this forum.
Been snow-kiting for 2 seasons now. :wee:
Live on Great Sacandaga Lake in upstate NY. It's usually a great place to kite but has lately SUCKED.
Anyone else in the area?

Hello and welcome, I'm in Albany so not far from you at all, we should get together some time. Do you live right on the lake?
I didn't get out on the sac this winter, had to venture further west to find better conditions.... Shoot me a pm if you ever want to fly, or go
sailing once the water warms up, I should have the hobie cat out there on a regular basis this summer.

How did I miss this?(darn today's posts, skip a day and miss something!) I'm over on the other side of the 'mtns' from you, on the edge of the Tug
Hill. We had some good snowkiting here this past season, but our snow total (only around 80" this year) was way off of average(200"+), and some of
the better spots didn't have enough snow to ride! I'm still getting the hang of snowkiting, I need more board time(and more lessons, too).
Spring/Summer I've been buggying to keep flying, though this season I hope to get better with the ATB. We've got a great beach for buggying in
Southwick Beach State Park, on the E. shore of L. Ontario, this past fall I was often the only person there, only had one day with another buggy
there besides mine, and unfortunately the wind wasn't the best that day. I'm heading out that way later this week, to see if the ice is off the beach
yet. Will continue posting in location and conditions, and meet up sections, in hopes of getting something going for this spring. @bigben, we
really ought to find the time to meet-up to fly, though it might not be 'til Wildwood! b-loo

Your right Bob, we've waited far to long to meet! Unfortunately I'm grounded for the next 5 weeks, I have to spend every waking moment studying for a
big exam I have coming up in April. I'm still planning on wildwood though. We should see if our new friend wants to come along. Wanna go to the
buggy bash kiteskian?

Ok so that is the weekend before our local kite fest. Hamonassett kite festival. Maybe I can plant a seed of intrest into Sandy's mind. Might be hard
since we are heading to the Antigua Barbuda International Kite Fest in two weeks!! :singing:

OK I mentioned it to her in passing last night over dinner. She said do you think RCI has a hotel there? It could be fun! (RCI is the timeshare we
have which is why we can afford to stay in Antigua) I have the best lady around!!
