Went to the park after work tonight; wind was supposed to be 5m/s which I thought would be gravy for the Rebble - turned out to be a bit more! And
gusty with it
Enough for the Cult 3.5 though so I had a great session working that ... with one gravy parS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-n'ride run.
Had the GoPro with me so I thought I'd give it a spin. What I have on my HDD is much better quality ATM but we'll see how it goes in the morning.
Edited with Windows 7 Movie Maker - imported the .mp4 no worries
I was having trouble hanging on to the handles, even at zenith - I've not experienced that before :o it was really hauling. I tried some jumps but the
Rebble is NOT a lifty kite ... if I did what I did with the Bullet, even my fat arse would have been flying :O I do have video of my "jumps" but it
looked just way too lame
Also, the little area is erm little. I've got film of my warm-up with the Cult; you'll get an idea of the limited space I got. And flag poles, power
lines, trees and stuff downwind. If it was a beach, I'd probably have given it a shot with the Reb ... and it was gusty. Ok I'm wimping out
The other problem was a lack of gear :D especially protection. My car was in the shop for some maintenance so I had a tiny courtesy car - 2 kites, a
land board, spare shoes and a jacket filled the storage in the car.

Nah I just burn them on a regular basis - they're "consumables" like gas, tyres or socks :D
Actually, I was expecting it so was prepared to scud - was just really impressed with the distance I got :D I counted out 8 paces when I packed up and
went home :O
