18 days to go!

Hitting the road in 18 days.......looks like we'll just be ready to say farewell to our local snowkite season and give a great big HELLO to the buggy that hasn't been sat in in over a year. Now....should I pack the skis for some impromptu riding should it present itself?

I think so.

I can't wait to hit the road!!!!!!

You hitting Skyline for sure for sure? We're stopping over in Lethbridge the evening of the 26th, crossing the border on the 27th. Where we point the KiteKoach from there is quite flexible.....It'd be cool to ski on american snow.

If your coming down I-15 don't forget Cedar Breaks above Cedar City just 3 hours north of Vegas in Utah. We have been getting way more than our fair share of snow and may have some of the best conditions in Utah right now. If you want a tour guide just let me know and I can show you around.

Dman - you d'man! I'll add that pin to the map and check it out. I-15 is exactly the route we're taking (primarily). How long/far from Salt Lake City? We had planned an overnight stop there but maybe can push the drive a little further and wake up in Cedar City the morning of Monday the 29th, do a little snowkite and then head to the Playa. You working Mondays?

(Oddly enough, a friend of ours said we HAD to stop a spell in St. George for some reason....I can't remember why now for the life of me......she fell in love with it.)

I live in StGeorge so just give me a heads up when you get to SLC. You will be about 3 hrs or so from Cedar city. 435-313-1058. Dustin

Hey Kelly, we are driving Calgary to Butte on the 27th and are staying in Fairview Sunday night Mar 28th. I'll be up at Skyline all day Monday weather permitting and staying in Fairview again Monday night. I don't think I can convince the wife to stop twice, but if Monday is snowing hard at Skyline we could move on and see what is happening at Cedar Breaks.

Thanks for the nudge Bill. Been doing some lookin' into Skyline and it seems like I owe it to my kiting career to check it out. It's just a few hours out of the way if I understand correctly and even if it's only to see it with my own eyes it should be worth it. I'll do the Cedar City stop too - again....even if "just to see". I think that'll put us there a day or two before you though so I'll pee a maple leaf into the snow for you and see you in the opposite climates of the lake bed (unless pee-art is poo pooed ; )
