want to learn to board on the beach when the winds are low and the buggy needs a break. central coast of cali, fairly hard sand at low tide.
what size wheels and what board would be stable?
no need for air for now but would be nice if it turns well.
also do you know where i could find a used one?

I like my flexifoil board. The only problem is that you cant ride downhill when there is no wind. I dont know where you may find a used one.

I have the MBS Comp 16 pro. I love it. Great for kiting and downhill.

murrays.com as they have some nice boards. the comp 6 is the kiters choice as it has a shorter wheelbase and is a bit lighter and runs the channel trucks. the mbs core 8 is a bit lighter and a bit cheaper and runs a

I ride a dirtsurfer with a kite and downhill. Love it.
No speed wobbles and every bit as fast as a buggy.

I also like the mbs and ground industries boards but I think the most interesting new board on the block is from "flexboardz".

They are using the "bmw" steering system, have not tried one yet but the steering system is state of the art compared to standard skateboard style trucks that suffers from speed wobbles when you start really moving.
