Interesting way to do it.

Most people weld the bottoms together.
It's a little thicker there around .009 but still a pain to do.

Was this Tig? The one welded to the plate looks like Tig but the other?

Pretty amazing, even no sign of heat on the cans.

let me take that dynasty away from you and give you a1980s lincoln idealarc , that's what I did mine on. ( I was testing the machine out after reawakening it from being sitting in a corner for yrs.

Dynastys and syncrowaves make welding aluminum easy.
You take my miller big 40 diesel deluxe ac/dc, and that is just raw AC , no balance control, no frequency control,really have to work at it w/ that.
Wish , they could take the brains of the dynasty and put it on a diesel platform.

And of course you did drink the contents right before welding that ,right.

Yea I know what your talking about.

First cans I ever tried was on a Miller Dialarc. Had to be a 70's machine. Big transformer type. Could only get an inch or two.
But that machine is still in use today.

So I guess those are your cans Weldngod. Even with the Dynasty I want no part of doing the sides like that.

Never seen that before and its so thin there I'd have to drink a case a day just to practice. But not just before. Hahahaha

How thick is that plate the can is welded to? I hear thats a tough weld to make also. I've never tried to put a can to something thats going to need that much more heat.

here is an old one of mine I would have to look in my pic archive to find some others. People get me to do it at work all the time.
I make these other things called stick f%$@!ers, I make them out of the tig rod stubs that accumulate when I'm production welding. I make em in any "position"

Oh yea, Thats a nice bead around the cans.

I'm always looking for cheap little things to do when nobody has any welding to be done. I don't weld for a living, tho I would like to. Just do it on the side. Weld boat props in the summer for a friends Prop Shop when he needs help.

Got to repair a pistol case and cattle gate just recently. The gate was sweet job. 50 bucks for 50 minutes. Pulled the cuz's Bobcat out to it.

Roc , yes I call em "stick fu$%#^s", if you throw a dozen on a coffe table , your friends will play w/ them for hours . nasty little things they are, but funny as heck.
