harness for kids?

Years ago I was in a kite store and they had a harness in kids sizes. I have never seen them other than that one time. Anyone know of a harness that would fit boys 8-10 years old?

I don't know if I want them hooked in but I need to start thinking about their quiver and if I want them on a small depowerable or multiple FBs.

Think it's time to break out the tape measure. Seems to recall some ridiculously (or seemingly so) small sizes when I was shopping but inches vs years would help confirm something suitable.

If they are lean and railish like you, duct tape might be required ;)

Sam

Pro-Limit makes seat and waist harnesses for kids. The Grommet is the model. Not sure if this link will work to get to the exact item, you'll find it in the harness listing.

My youngest grandson (8 years old) uses a red radsail harness with a 10" spreader bar. They run small for grownups.

Darn it, Sam its BUFF like me not railish!! :P

My wife knows their sizes. I'm only good with their ages and names and favorite colors, unless that has changed with the whims of a child :wink2:

Good block Rip
But I'm slightly taller than you at just 6'3" and I wear a large. But it is tight to hook the spreader bar.

We have a small HQ that Wexler has been wearing since he was 12. He is able to snug it up tight and he is small framed and narrow waisted. Rip, like you I already could hear the jokes coming about your knowledge of extra small harnesses. Nice one heading that off up front!
