Looking for a little quiver of kites for my bro.

My brother has gotten interested in doing a little buggying and I thought I'd help him get started by asking if anyone had a 3, 4 and/or 5 metre kite they were thinking of selling and could bring to NABX. I'm looking for something like a PL, Ozone, PKD, HQ...and actually also a PL folding bug.

I don't want to break the bank to get him set up because I'm not sure which way he's going to go with his power kiting once he gets the hang of it. He's really comfortable with wind powered sports and has already had some fun static flying my kites.

I can keep watching for used kites to come up here in PKF but thought that it would save some hassle around shipping if someone coming to NABX had some 'kite kit' they'd like to sell.

I sent you an email. I have a few demo kites on hand at the moment. Maybe one or two of them would interest him.

Ricardo has two kites that are in the size range you are looking for... one RTF and one KO. He'll be at NABX, you would have to confirm that the kites would though.

Thanks for your quick response guys!

At this point I'm going to try to do a hook up at NABX as it will take the need for shipping right out of the picture.

Fredagie, I sent you a U2U....
Bigkid, I don't see a U2U from you yet...
BigMike, thanks for your email...

If I can't find the kites I'm looking for at a price I can live with via a NABX connection, I get back to folks here to go with Plan B:arrange the shipping for a kite or two.

cheers,
Erin

Update:

OK, looks like I've got the kite quiver filled already - thanks a lot guys!

I'm still on the hunt for a folding bug though. No rush but if you happen to have a PL folder that hasn't been getting using and would like to sell and you are coming to the playa, just let me know.

thanks,
Erin
