will this work?

Does anyone know if this setup will work? I have a slingshot B6 kite (6 meter) that flew ok with a really long bar on three lines, although the kite does have 2 rear brake bridles that can be separated. The bar broke (bull horn part) a while back. I recently picked up a pulley bar on sale (see photo) – seems like a good deal for $39 – the bar looks good and it has a nice harness loop. If I hook the B6 power lines to the pulley spot and the rear lines to the bar ends will the kite fly and will I be able to turn it? There should be a lot of room to shorten the front lines based on how the trim strap works. The bar is meant to have the center power lines from a de-power kite hook to the pulley and the steering lines to the bar ends and make it turn really fast..??
