A little after work buggy session.

After a miserable winter for Florida it is at last starting to get nice again. The wind is trying to co-operate even. We got a little riding in the other day after work. I can only take so much of talking about or selling kite gear and not flying them. Winds were light 8-10mph maybe but enough to cruise. Kites were a 7M Waroo and 10.5M Obsession. I have been skunked a few times recently but low tide and decent wind were on my side this time. At last!:wee:

Nice cruising vid? Curious to how the El Nino has been effecting the Gulf Coast? When did you notice a change or any to the normal weather conditions? Unusual tide swells? Complete lack of wind in normally windy coastal areas?

we all believe is called the expansion

ACampbell and I were out last Thursday and Friday just up the coast at Jekyll Island (Home of "JIBE"). Sounds like the wind was the same - pretty light and out of the south-east. Made for some comfortable cruising but was lacking in excitement. The low tide in the afternoon coincided with the onshore sea breeze which provided a lot of beach. All in all, a good time. Glad to hear you were able to take advantage of it too. Hope to meet you at JIBE.
