Hey Sailors,
The weekend AFTER Memorial Day.
Friday thru Sunday - June 4-5-6, 2010
Walt's Cove at El Mirage Dry Lake in California.
Directions at: www.buggythang.org
Horny Naked Buggy Chicks will be sponsoring Shot Car Racing.
That means they will bring a track.
You must provide your own fuel.
Doesn't sound like it'll be any fun at all.

Hey Sailors,
Everything is looking real good for Buggy Boogie Sprang Thang.
There are frequently new and naked folks join us.
Makes rolling up on a down kite a potentially surprising experience.
Jon - Fast is a state of mind. Often it is merely quick enough.
How does one know if one is fast?
Ask the riders behind you.

Hey Sailors,
Everyone have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend.
Depending on your timing, I hope it was.
Ready for a little hair-of-the-dog?
WHEN? Next weekend - Friday, Saturday, Sunday
June 4th, 5th & 6th, 2010
WHERE? El Mirage Dry Lake - California.
Walt's Cove - About 3.7 miles (or so, from the entry) on the right side.
Might be a vehicle or 3; with windsocks on poles and buggies on the ground.
WHAT? Kite Buggies, land sailers, terra-boards, KiteGroundBoards, Kite Wings,
Pretty much anything wind-powered.
WHY? Because that's the way we do it.
And it's often more fun to do it with a group.
Bring your Shot-Cars and fuel for nightly Shot-Car Racing sponsored by Horny Naked Buggy Chicks.
This is a secret gathering.
Strict handshake and password rules apply.
Happy Birthday.

Sorry we missed you guys last month at the "Thang". Hope you all had a great time. My team had a paid gig the following weekend and we needed the
practice time. That's my pathetic excuse and I'm sticking to it.
Sue and I are actually at Elmers right now. Been here since Thursday. Heading home tomorrow (Tuesday). Have had absolutely beautiful winds every
late afternoon/evening.
It's amazing how much the lake bed and surrounding areas have changed after the last big rains. Walt's cover is almost unrecognizable. Many of my
favorite buggy spots are simply gone, but news ones have appeared to take their place. The extreme west end of the lake bed is super smooth all the
way to the fence line. But everything north of Walt's cover is very rough with lots and lots of sink holes. N-e-ways, we are having fun now because
we did not get to have fun with you guys last month.
Regards,
Darrin and Susie
