The Hardest 32 miles I have ever done

Went to Mable today, to do the Mable to Skeg run....wind direction was ok going 15mph NE, but turned Northerly once we were at Skegness....nightmare to say the least....the 32 mile run normally takes just over an hour....it took me over 3 1/2 hours, and I was 3rd back....2 hours later there were still a few missing...hampered also by the fast incoming tide....

Some of the Stories, and my own account here, a lot of reading but you will start to get the picture of what we went through

Yow. Hard, but I bet really fun none the less! Better than calling a truck and having a long tow rope for the group... sweet shot with the matching bug and cooper!

I want to do a long group run this summer. The longest we have out here is Long Beach at 26miles, it's just not open to buggies yet :( Might have to settle for the length of sunset beach and back.

That would be a fantastic run and what a nightmare to get to the end and realize you have an upwind run back with the tide cutting you off. Good for you to make it safe even if a little wet.

What I would give to have access to a run like that.... Longest i've got around here is about 8 miles (one way) of coast line, which I love, but 32 miles....one can only dream!
