Hello Everyone :)
Hey All. I'm new to all this, I am thinking of getting a kite with a buggy .
I live in England, Southport, there is a huge beach for me to go kiting on. Any tips or good websites to buy kite/buggy off is very much appreciated!
If your from Southport or close to Southport and own a kite/buggy I would very much like to tag along to learn a few things. I am in love with this
sport but have never thought of trying it until now.
P.s I'm called Chris. Nearly 19 years old. Nice to meet everyone!

Welcome
So you have protective gear- good. But you do NOT want to start with a 6m kite and certainly not a harness yet. Others will say the same so trust us
on this. We don't want to see you hurt/ frustrated and mess up the sport for others.
Start with a 3-4 meter. No worries you will always be able to use it. Starters now, and later, your wicked high winds kite, and it will always be a
useful buggy engine. Suggestion in no real order...
Peter Lynn Hornet or Viper
HQ Beamer
Flexifoil Sting or Rage
Ozone Flow
The Viper and Rage are more expensive but faster higher performance kites that will go upwind better yet are easy enough to fly to recommend for a
first timer if the budget permits.
You do not want to be hooked into a harness until you are really familiar with your kite and will absolutely know what it's going to do next in all
winds and conditions. And with the smaller kites you need to start with, you don't need it most of the time anyway.
Later on, get a 5-6m to fill you quiver for lower winds, and get harness if you like as it helps going up-wind. then consider de-power kites
