Wind was great today! Pretty damn stable W 12/15/18. Tide was going out to 0ft from 10a to 5pm so there was lots of hard pack. I casually showed up
at 1, just in time to see heliboy off... ran my rage 3.5 most the dayand put up the v2 13 for a quick test towards the end of the day. There were two
small patches of rain mid day but other than that it was sunny!
Tried csa_deadon's 3.2? reactor and monty's buggy for some running up and down the dunes. The reactor was quite fun, it really loved to rock the down
loops. It's also clear, post nabx, that I need some biger kites for the beach I
had the venom tuned way down, as I hadn't flown it before, but I need to yank the straps in a bit as I can see it wants more power. But depowered on
the kite and fully powered on the straps and bar the kite was pretty tame and fun in the buggy at W15. Should be a fun kite. Just need to fill out
the rest of the flying matresses.
Thanks again to Sean, Monty, and Isaac for eling me pack up as the last rainstorm was comming up, I was pushing my time with the venom before the ime
ran out

What a day! Where to start? Winds were the best I've seen at Sunset since SOBB 09. Heliboy was looking good in that pee yellow buggy
Of course Jimmy ran circle around us. We won't tell we let him, since he was riding some french built buggy :wee:
Monty you look good in the buggy with that 4.4 RII.
The 3.5 RII was wanting more wind. Had enough grunt to get us moving, but you had to really work the kite.
Looks like the crew is getting better at putting buggies together. First a quick switch with my buggy from the dessert to beach setup.
Then Arkay shows up with his hardcore completely dismantled. No extra pieces left over.
Got two bits of video before the battery on the gopro pooped out. And yes Dino, Screwy it died before we tested the theory of whether or not
you can flip a hardcore with bigfoots. Yes you can! Funny how that works
when you're turning to the right and loop the kite to the left.
All in all great day.

Best day I've had in a buggy yet. Worked with the harness, high speed (for me anyway) turns, one easy to reset panic stop from a pretty good clip
when I had a choice of 5" water from a sneaker wave or a big chunk of driftwood, and what I am sure is the fastest I have gone to date (no GPS, but my
knees were shaking after a couple of pretty fast passes.) I rode for a little over an hour without ever really stopping. Finished the day early to
head back to town to go work but not before Monty's dog thought I was a dollar menu treat. I owe that little booger a bite back. Great to see you
all out there (sorry I didn't get to hang out with ya' longer, Arkay,) and thanks for the advice on how to tweak my pulley spreader to Monty and
csa_deadon. I'm ready to go again...

You are making this way to easy. Need to find a rather large Miss Chiquita
banana decal for your buggy.
Hey I know some one who does something like that.
Hey Josh, I'm looking for a large decal about 8-12 inches in diameter. I'll email a copy of the picture I need made up. Hey thanks man you're the
best.
