I am getting my land legs with power kites, having learned both skiing and blading. (thanks to my Forum Friends for the insight to get me going on
blades!) My quiver of foils is working quite nicely on land.
Now I am thinking about getting a kite to get out on the water. The goal is to learn body drags, practice relaunch, scud, etc. Eventually I will get a
board.
I am not ready to plop down much money. For all I know, I'll hate the water.
So, I am considering a virtually new 18.5 meter flexifoil fusion for $250. Any thoughts on this kite? (I weigh 185 and live in the Midwest with
average windspeed of 8 to 15 maybe.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
