Took the V1 19 out today, winds started at 7/11/14 when i was in the buggy then ended the session gusting over 20. Felt safe on the kite the entire
time, thought it did have quite a bit of pull at rest. I was using a 07 48cm (45, 47 whatever the size is) bar which was a bit short so I had to
really yank to turn but it did turn very well and flew very stable. I was shocked that I was able to move thru the softer sand even when the wind had
almost died at one point. I think this mught be my goto kite for under 20 on land. My wife was driving on 101 a few miles away and saw the kite
flying in the sky. Aparently it looks really large to the observer I've got a
few fuzzy iphone pics of this red monster in the sky from across town, over the bay, and over the dunes!
I threw a few clips together, the video uploaded poorly. I need to trim the photos to 720 size an reload at some point.

I could feel the overpower during the first section of the video when it would drag you into the soft sand. Good call on the depower - those bigger
arcs are amazing beasts that pull like a slow moving truck. Once the wind gets over 14mph it can be a drag - all pun intended - mostly side pull -
unless you're on water. Nice video of your first time out with a fun monster.
nice vid, kite looked great......................we tried to get Hardrock in the bug on his 19 Friday but not
joy.................................libre buggy?
