Today I was wishing I had that carbon axle. pushed the Sabre at her top end and took a couple hard landing but amazingly didn't bend an axle or bust
any rims. Air time is what free style is all about, once you start its a serious addiction and hard to get enough of a fix. Really have to get a good
video camera or someone out with me but just never works out that way. Pulled a sweet pendulum today that felt like it was never going to end. Just a
heads up 25 mph is seriously top end for a 9.5M Sabre. Wheels just didn't want to stay on the ground...lol. Landed on my back twice, body armor
totally rules as they say any crash you walk away from is a good one. My Giro helmet takes a pretty good beating too, and love the removable vents for
the hot weather.
Great weather here, sun shining and nothing but time on my hands as still laid off. Buggy is getting some serious miles on her and eagerly awaiting
the PL fiber stuff coming my way.
Also really impressed with the new body armor I'm R & D-ing has excellent rib protection and very comfortable, big step up. Hope to get out again
tomorrow heading to a new spot that I have permission for, nice clear area with sweet rolling hills. Nice when nature provides launch ramps for you.
Just a quick update, heading my old butt to bed more winds coming tomorrow.
