Adjustable rear leaders?

Can't remember where I saw it or what bar, but I saw a video of a bar that had adjustable leaders for the steering lines, at the bar end ...

All it was, was a shorter leaders from the bar that larks headed onto another leader but the cool trick was, the knots were all tucked under the line float ... neat and tidy.

Worth an attempt on a PL bar?
Might be neater than pigtails on the kite, could be easier to adjust without flagging the kite, should give finer adjustability ...

My north bar that came with my Phantom was set up that way. Would be an easy mod on your bar. The lines wouldn't be captive on the leader like on the 07 bar, but larked onto the knot of your choice. Just make sure your longest knot is longer than stock when all your knots are added.

I've got a pile of Wipika stuff with long leader lines ... thought I might do something on my spare Zero7 bar :D

What do you mean "captive"?

I'm mistaken. The steering lines on the 07 bar both have rings for OS tabs. You would need to switch your safety to a front line setup if you wanted adjustable backlines at the bar.

Yeah, the leaders have loops on the end and are stitched ... I imagine making a whole separate leader setup to save the OE ones - but "captive" on the SL rings and a "loop" for the connection to the bar, so I can larks head on the ring end ...

Now to talk the wife into letting me use her new sewing machine :D

Yeah that's the idea - but hide the extra line under the bar float.
Had an attempt at the Zacher Knot tonight - works sweet and looks very pro :) something to meddle with over the next few days of zero wind forecast :(
