I found a Peter Lynn venom 13m
Hey guys.
I have located a peter lynn venom 13m kite for 200.00.
Can you tell me if this kite is worth the money.
Pros and cons?

YES , It should be a good deal if it is in good shape.
I'm not sure but I think you can use your recon bar on it ?????

Its a good price for a V1 Venom and a great price for a VII. Both kites are good for snow, land and water. I have a VI 13 and a V2 16. Make sure
its a Peter Lynn bar or lengthen the center line to make it a long throw. This gives it great depower.
I love Nahant but rarely get there anymore.

Great deal, buy it - just make sure that's US $200. You can get an 07 bar through the NZ peter lynn webstore for just over $100. I sold my 13m venom
to get a 12m phantom, love the phantom but the 13 had a nice extra pop on jumps.

It needs the spars or rods. Wheres a source for those ? It is the V1 version with bar and lines and its here in the states for 200 us.

angus at coatal wind sports has some first rate spars custom made... they run $50 and are the best thing out there

the seller is kinda iffy. He wont send me any pics of the kite that really show me the condition of the kite.
Kinda stupid to pull the trigger when they send you pic the size of a postage stamp.
I have already fell into the trap before.

I bought a 55cm 07 bar from the peter lynn web store about 3 months ago for $99 - this is the store that is based out of New Zealand not the
Netherlands (I think?). Maybe someone else can elaborate because I am having the hardest time tracking it down. The bar I know came from New Zealand
but I can't find my email receipts to verify the exact company name - even though now I do remember corresponding with someone with a dutch name.
Sorry I can't give any more info, maybe MJ can give some better info than I.
And to stay with the thread - good call on being wary of someone that won't be strait up with kite condition - if it feels really weird wait to find
another one - they are popping up all the time.
