Kiting Industry

Hi guys!

Just finished my engineering degree (#@%$#!ing get in) and was thinking I want to find a job to do with kiting. Then it twigged! I'm an engineer, kites need to be engineered... this is genius! Any idea how to get into the industry?

I am obviously going to do a lot of emailing and telephoning but didnt know if anyone has any good contacts or ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Not Aeronautical but Automotive with leanings toward motorsport - I did my thesis on aerodynamics.

Just contact each company individually, again and again, i guess!

Or go out and design and build a kite of your own. Get others to fly it become known as a kite designer and sell you designs off to other makers (notably the Chinese) or hope to be picked up by a real company. Either way you're talking a lot of personal investment with little return and the likely need to have another "real" job to support your kiting job.
