Twister Tuning Question

I just got my first Twister 2 7.7m in the mail on Friday. I set it up and flew it noticing that the brake lines appear tight...no slack like my other kites. In turn I also noticed that the kite was difficult to launch and would stall trying to make the top of the window...wind was 5-15mph. I checked all my lines and they are hooked up correctly.

I think the brakes are to tight from the factory....so three questions

1. Is this abnormal or am I misdiagnosing the problem?

2. Since the lines are all fixed length the only adjustment it seems I can make is to the knots on the handle leaders. Since I cannot lengthen the brake lines(knots are all the way out on the leaders already) can I shorten the power lines with an additional knot closer to the handle on the leader? (also there is no ability to adjust brakes on the bridle side)

3. Does this cause any other flying problems or would it not effectively lengthen the brake lines?

you got it just right bro.

just tie some knots closer to the leaders on the handles and you should be in business.

Dino has it right and so do you. I had a similar problem with a rev yesterday. I was using someone else' handles and they didn't have any knots in them. I asked them if they minded me tying one in and that is all it took.
