Just want to reiterate that the board is in Colorado and I know it's a tough sell with all the snow but the Front Range should be open for boarding, I got out on it once in between storms and it was really loose at speed so took it home and found everything was loose, tightened everything but still think the trucks need to be tighter maybe Bigkid could offer some expertise as to stiffening the deck heel to toe.

It does feel different then a regular board but I didn't think it felt loose. I guess if you rode it downhill it would feel loose since you are not fighting a kite. Also, it's probably different on Texas sand compare to Colorado grass

Not sure of Colorado grass, but Maui grass...would definitely be different than Taxes sand

Hey,
Sorry I could not read the replies cuz for some reason I can't get to the end of the thread but no I'm not using it downhill, I'm using it with my 10 and 8 Venoms on dry grass, but my point is that on my mbs board I have the trucks set real stiff and it takes some pressure to transition from heel to toe, but on the flex the deck rocks back and forth very easily and maybe its to much rider input being used to the stiffer trucks, will try again and relax the input to the board a little

Hey G,

I think I know what you mean ... the board is design for carving so it takes a little getting used to. Lucky for me, I never did get used to the stiffer trucks on my Scrub so really enjoyed the looser response of the Flexboardz. Once you get used to it, you'll like the way it can do figure 8's :singing: . I wonder if you can put miniature dampeners on their like on sportbikes.

The board is in CO. at the moment, I believe.
Anyone want to try the board prior to NABX?
I will have a few of the Haize with me at NABX for anyone to try out, or purchase off site ya know. I have one with bindings and one without bindings, I like to just cruise and to be able to step way with out falling on my face

Flexboardz has now been passed to Flash, you guy's and gal's are going to love this board, you can go as fast as you want and no speed wobble, plus it rolls on rough sod like a dream.

sorry guys, for some reasons, I was unable to read the second page of the post...

Yes, there is a way to make the board stiffer heel to toes (riders used to regular mtb often feel that the board is not stiff enough) : You can use rubber dampener (see below)

However, when they get used to the Flexboardz, generally riders do not use them anymore
NB: rubber dampeners are not included in the box of the present production

Can anyone make a comparison between this (Flexboardz) and a Dirtsurfer? Preferably somebody that has used both? :-)

I would like to get one or the other for use with a newly acquired Kitewing and don't know which way to go. I am primarily interested in the performance/use as I am aware of the pricing...

Thanks!!

Hey, anybody know what happened to the board after I passed it to Flash? Should have some miles on it by now.

The board is in my dirty hands, are you or anyone interested in trying it out?

Come to my Kite Festival in Quincy over Memorial Day weekend, and you can take it home for a test drive.
On another note, (I will hijack my post) did you post the NAPKA event at Quincy?

Yup, I posted something http://www.napka.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=276 but I haven't gotten much of a response. I sent an email to bbrex about paperwork and haven't got a response.
